A blog I frequent for health and cooking tips is the Honeybee blog. There, I found one my current go-to meals: the breakfast bowl. It’s really simple, healthy, and most of all delicious!
half an avocado
1/2 cup brown rice
low-fat/fat-free mozzarella cheese (Honeybee uses dairy free cheese)
few spoonfuls of black beans
For some reason I usually place the rice on the bottom, then the black beans, egg whites, cheese, and avocado. If I have cilantro on deck, I use it. But I always add a lil’ siracha on top. I’m spicy like that. Enjoy!
